The Hollywood Hills are comprised of two major areas, Hollywood Hills West and Hollywood Hills East, which are divided by the 101 Freeway. Each side of the pass contains canyons, parks, and distinct neighborhoods.
Hollywood Hills west consists of the Sunset Strip, Bird Streets, Laurel Canyon, Outpost Estates, Hollywood Heights, and the Whitley Heights Historic District. Hollywood Hills east consists of the Beachwood Canyon and the Oaks.
During the day, under Southern California sunshine, the Hollywood Hills offer an escape from the big-city hustle and bustle. At night, the glow from the stars above and city lights below eases one’s mind into endless space. It’s easy to surrender yourself to the serene, enveloping starfield.
